I really don’t think my parents realised what they were creating when they purchased a 700 Dollar shetland pony in 2001, I had already been riding from when I could hold my bobbly helmet head up.
Now 16 years old and my passion for horses continues to grow and i am inspired by riding good horses and i am humbled by the generosity and willingness from those who are established in the industry to share both their knowledge and joy in seeing their horses do well. I have dreams and aspirations of eventually cementing my career in the Australian performance horse industry I love Campdrafting for the mateship and family atmosphere, I also love how Campdrafting can be such a leveler, you can go from the pent house to the out house in a mater of one run.
2013 saw my introduction to challenges, I was pleased with my results in the Juvenile and rookie sections, in 2014 I find myself with two pretty handy 4 year old’s that are eligible for the junior section of all the major Stockmans Challenges in Queensland. I hope by keeping my expectations reasonable, my dreams big and my want and willingness even bigger I can achieve my goals.
